Even in the shortest month of the year, download records of 3D CAD models were registered at PARTcommunity

(PresseBox) - Nobody had expected nearly 16.5 million downloads from the 3D CAD model download portal PARTcommunity in February. Still, CADENAS and the numerous component manufacturers represented on PARTcommunity were very pleased about a new monthly CAD model download record. Especially since another sensation appeared in the second week of March: For the first time, more than 1 million downloads were registered alone in one day.
BIM as a drawing card
When asking the CEO Jürgen Heimbach how such figures were achieved, the answer is simple: ?We were already developing the BIM (Building Information Modeling) area in 2015 and invested in and built up the website BIMcatalogs.net. Currently we are further improving the website for architects and civil engineers and increasing the links to the 3D Cad model download portal PARTcommunity?, the CEO of CADENAS in Augsburg explained. ?This development is now resulting in an increase of the total download figures.?
CADENAS is on the right track
With BIMcatalogs.net, a platform especially for the building and architecture industry was developed so that architects and engineers can find suitable 3D BIM CAD components more easily.
Also, manufacturers of these components will find customized target groups to market their products successfully with little effort.
