The 2016 HW TECH100(TM) Is the Publication's Third Annual Ranking

The HW TECH100â„¢ is a groundbreaking awards program that highlights the housing economy''s top 100 technology innovators. The number of applicants for the 2016 awards ballooned from previous years and these 100 companies demonstrate how deep the tech bench now is for mortgage finance and the larger housing economy.
Companies were evaluated based on six discrete dimensions, which served as a guideline for inclusion:

Unique solution
Growth
Elegant implementation
Something else entirely (the "it" factor)
For each of these six dimensions, HousingWire editorial selected a winning company that best represents the given dimension, in addition to selecting the 100 companies that comprise the HW TECH100â„¢.

Out of the 100 companies HousingWire recognized, 34 are new to the list this year. In a trend that accelerated rapidly from last year, a large majority of the companies on the list are working feverishly on automating systems or solutions for the much-anticipated eMortgage.
