SCANLAB appoints Amanda Dobbins as Director of New Business Development for the American and global markets

The company, headquartered in Puchheim near Munich, announces the appointment of Amanda Dobbins as Director of New Business Development for SCANLAB America, focused on developing laser scanning solutions for applications worldwide.
For 25 years SCANLAB has been meeting the needs of its customers worldwide with reliable and industry-proven technology based on German engineering. Since 2003 the company has operated in the US with a local subsidiary. To increase customer support and to better understand the needs of scanning applications, SCANLAB is enlarging the US team.
Amanda Dobbins has 20 years professional experience in working with OEM companies developing systems which utilize lasers, precision optics, and beam steering devices. She was formerly the Director of Sales & Marketing of an optical components manufacturer where she was responsible for new product introductions and collaborations in medical devices and analytical instrumentation. Previously she spent more than a decade involved in applications including laser materials processing, biophotonics, and ophthalmology.
Amanda Dobbins earned her B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Leicester, UK, in 1995.
