Star Portfolio Corp. Announces Monthly Distribution for Star Yield Managers Class
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 10/20/15 -- Star Portfolio Corp. (TSX: XYM) announced today a distribution for the month of November for Star Yield Managers Class. Shareholders of record at the close of business on October 30, 2015 will receive a distribution in the form of a capital gains dividend of $0.05 per share, payable on or about November 13, 2015. Star Portfolio Corp. will elect that the dividend be deemed to be a capital gains dividend for the purposes of the Income Tax Act (Canada) and any similar provincial and territorial legislation.
Please consult with your own tax advisor for advice with respect to the income tax consequences to you of Star Portfolio Corp. paying a dividend as a capital gains dividend.
