Spectrem Affluent Investor Confidence Index (SAICI(R)) Reaches 5-Month High in July
(firmenpresse) - CHICAGO, IL -- (Marketwired) -- 07/28/15 -- Surging confidence among Millionaire investors helped drive the Spectrem Affluent Investor Confidence Index (SAICI®) to a five-month high in July, Spectrem Group announced Tuesday. The SAICI rose to 11 in July, a five-point gain over the previous month. The Spectrem Millionaire Investor Confidence Index (SMICI®) currently stands at 15, a nine-point gain over June.
The indices, compiled by Spectrem Group, a market research and consulting firm specializing in the affluent and retirement markets, measure investment confidence and outlook among the 16MM households in America with more than $500,000 of investable assets (SAICI), and those with $1MM or more (SMICI).
Affluent investors say they are planning to move off the investment sidelines in the coming months. This bullish investor mindset is being driven by Millionaires, whose sentiment toward equities reached an eight-month high in July, according to the Index.
