Futura and fashioncheque agree on strategic cooperation
(PresseBox) - Shopping all over Europe just with a single gift card: this objective of the Dutch supplier fashioncheque is now also supported by German developers of POS software. The strategic partnership with Futura Retail Solution AG based in Stelle near Hamburg was formed to make the fashioncheque system available to retailers in the German-speaking markets. Introduced in the Netherlands in 2008, this gift card for fashion and lifestyle stores is already accepted in more than 10,000 stores, fashioncheque says.
Gift card for all lines of business
The fashioncheque - a gift card in credit card format - is not tied to any particular brand. "The card is loaded with any amount up to EUR 150.00 at the POS when purchased, and it comes in a stylish package. The donee can redeem the fashioncheque in all participating stores and online shops," explains Jacqueline Gasché, Account Manager Sales Germany at fashioncheque. "As market experience has shown, customers who go shopping with a fashioncheque tend to spend almost three times its value."
Interface to Futura systems developed
Retailers can accept and/or sell fashioncheques. The Futura4POS and Futura4Cash POS programs support these options with the recently developed interface to fashioncheque. Christian Jürs, Head of Sales of Futura: "Our POS systems are suitable for all lines of business and are ideal for integration into an omni-channel system. This enables our customers to exploit all the advantages offered by this gift card system according to their specific needs."
