NFANT Labs Moves Into Midtown Office in Preparation for FDA Clearance and to Support Company Growth

NFANT Labs moved to offices in the historic Biltmore building in preparation for FDA clearance and company growth.
NFANT Labs, formerly CCB Research Group LLC, had previously been located at the Global Center for Medical Innovation (GCMI), a local medical device incubator space offering extensive prototyping and engineering support. "It has been great working with the NFANT team, helping them move from concept to 510(k) submission in just under a year," said Tiffany Wilson Karp, Executive Director of GCMI. "Their efficiency at driving key development milestones was incredibly impressive, and we look forward to seeing great things from them."
The Biltmore is located in the rapidly growing Technology Square and adjacent to the Georgia Tech campus. The Midtown Atlanta location is a hub for technology and medtech companies, as well as established businesses that wish to tap into the young professional talent coming out of Georgia Tech.
Lou Malice, NFANT Labs CEO, sees the move as an opportunity. "Our new facility allows us access to local technology resources while giving us room to expand as we recruit qualified people to grow the business. The accessibility, atmosphere and proximity to other early stage companies make this space very conducive to our culture. The nfant feeding solution is a medical device that provides strength and coordination data on a preterm baby''s ability to suck, swallow and breathe. The device uses Bluetooth Smart® communication to seamlessly connect to a clinician''s mobile device and display feeding metrics in real-time for evaluation. The system also includes a patient database with statistical modeling comparisons, supporting evidence-based decisions and tracking infant progress towards discharge.
NFANT Labs is an early stage company producing nfant®, a patented medical device used to measure a preterm baby''s ability to properly feed.
