Hunt Mortgage Group Hires Penny Newton as Vice President in the Small Loan Group
Joins the Hunt Team in Denver, Colorado
(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 06/08/15 -- Hunt Mortgage Group, a commercial real estate lender, announced today that Penny Newton has joined the firm as Vice President in the Small Loan Group. In this role, she will source and originate Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae small loans for clients in Colorado and the surrounding area. She will be based in Denver, Colorado and will report to Rick Warren, Senior Managing Director Mortgage Banking.
Newton comes to Hunt Mortgage Group from Grandbridge Real Estate Capital/BB&T Bank where she was a Vice President. In this role she served as a commercial banker for agency debt, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, insurance companies, CMBS and commercial banks.
"Penny brings nearly 25 years of commercial mortgage and bank lending experience to her new role at Hunt Mortgage Group," noted Warren. "She is well known in the local commercial real estate community as a seasoned versatile lender with an established reputation for her certainty of execution and fast delivery, including multiple property closings."
Earlier in her career Newton served as Client Manager, Commercial Term Lending at Chase Commercial Term Lending, Vice President-Lender at Horizon Banks, underwriter at GMAC Commercial Mortgage, CMBS Market Manager at KeyBank and Commercial Real Estate Loan Underwriter at Midland Loan Services.
She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi, where she majored in Banking and Finance.
