High Resolution Concave Grating Spectrometer
(PresseBox) - The BLACK-Comet spectrometers utilize a holographic concave grating with aberration correction to provide superb spectral imaging. This significantly improves spectral shapes by reducing coma and astigmatism found in all other plane grating miniature spectrometer designs. The flat field spectrograph architecture does not utilize mirrors and therefore drastically reduces stray light effects while providing uniform resolution across the entire spectral range.
With over 20 years of tested quality, StellarNet?s patented optical design with permanent alignment requires no calibration adjustments to provide unbeatable thermal stability without wavelength drift. Additional popular concave grating models cover 190 - 850 nm or 200 - 1100 nm ranges in one instrument. Now research grade performance is available at a fraction of the price!
