BioTeSys joins BioEconomy Network for the Production of Bio-based Products
BioTeSys joins in with the change from a petroleum-based economy to a sustainable, bio-based economy. BioTeSys will contribute especially its analytical skills regarding botanicals
(PresseBox) - BioTeSys deploys its competencies in the area of bio-based economy. As part of the Central Innovation Programme for SME (ZIM) projects are driven that take into account the change from a petroleum-based to a sustainable economy, based on renewable resources.
BioTeSys will contribute especially its analytical skills regarding botanicals. The determination of the economic potential of vegetable waste for re-use within a recycling project or toxicological evaluation of substances and composites are just two examples.
The Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) initiated the network, and finances it until autumn 2017. Network Manager is the EurA Consult AG in Ellwangen, Germany. The website is still under construction and will then be available at www.biooekonomie-netzwerk.de. The inaugural event will take place on March 12, 2015.
