The OTRS specialist from Chemnitz will still and unmodified provides support and further services for HelpDesk OTRS - independently of use of capeIT's own development KIX4OTRS
(firmenpresse) - Chemnitz, 02/02/2015 – Apparently, many OTRS users are insecure through the current news of the OTRS software vendor about the new cloud-oriented OTRS Business Solution. On this occasion, we emphasize that we still provide support and service for existing and new OTRS systems. It applies for all OTRS users - independently whether they use our additional module KIX4OTRS or not.
"Due to the extreme distribution of OTRS, capeIT considers it is necessary to give an alternative to all OTRS users and to offer a professional, independent support and service for standard OTRS software" explains Rico Barth, the managing director of capeIT. "The years of success of our support and service obligate us to provide our services in the future. We will not change our offer and we will still support OTRS systems with or without KIX4OTRS. All OTRS users should have a free choice, which additional modules they would like to install in their OTRS system as extension of the standard software."
capeIT will keep the range of services for OTRS helpdesk and its extension OTRS::ITSM as well as for standard community modules as FAQ or KIX4OTRS. These services have been already provided successfully to many customers of capeIT and include support, OTRS update service and system maintenance for OTRS application, OTRS data base and OTRS data base management system including Linux.
The service offer suits to requirements of customers and includes support in case of incidents or fallouts as well as configuration support for OTRS, OTRS::ITSM and further standard modules. Defined reaction and solutions times and no limits of number of agents or customer users, who use the OTRS system, are also a part of support packages. Starting with the support package Standard (12x5), test and productive system can be supported automatically. Support packages can be extended by OTRS update service and system maintenance.
