Virtual Forge SystemProfiler 2.0 now with Java and operating system support
(PresseBox) - Virtual Forge today introduced the new generation of SystemProfiler. The leading solution for protecting and managing SAP System configurations is now available in version 2.0.
With the new version of SystemProfiler, Virtual Forge raises SAP security monitoring to a new level. In addition to the comprehensive checks of NetWeaver ABAP systems, SystemProfiler now also enables the validation of NetWeaver Java systems. A total of 23 Java test cases are predefined in SystemProfiler. As with all test cases, those, too, can be extended, adapted or applied to additional scenarios by the customer.
Another highlight of version 2.0 is the integration of the operating system. 18 pre-configured test cases check the security between the operating system and SAP.
It''s not only the expansion to additional platforms which turn SystemProfiler into a comprehensive configuration solution. The ability to manage blacklists and whitelists were simplified and expanded. In addition, the management of customer-specific security policies has been improved.
Special attention was paid to the Finding Manager within SystemProfiler. The Finding Manager as the central point of entry for working with SystemProfiler makes it even more comfortable to overview the current state of the entire SAP system landscape and take necessary measures.
SystemProfiler 2.0 is now available for customers from the Customer Portal of Virtual Forge. For interested companies, Virtual Forge offers a free risk assessment, where a system of your choice is assessed for vulnerabilities in configuration as well as in custom coding.
