(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 09/18/14 -- Chesswood Group Limited (TSX: CHW) is pleased to announce that, effective after the close of trading on Friday September 19, 2014, it will be added to the S&P/TSX SmallCap Index.
The S&P/TSX SmallCap Index was created to address the needs of investment managers requiring a portfolio index of the small cap market segment of the Canadian equity market.
The index is float adjusted and market cap weighted and was developed with industry input as the ideal benchmark for those with small cap exposure of the Canadian equity market. The Index is currently composed 210 TSX listed constituents.
