primion Technology AG will be showcasing its new software and hardware solutions for Access, Time and Security at Security in Essen, from 23rd to 26th September 2014 on Booth 704 in Hall 3.
(firmenpresse) - The terminal family has been given a contemporary design and unifies a clear and elegant shape with powerful user operability. Together with the successful prime Crystal line, the attractive terminals and readers wil be the second design family that primion has developed. The mix of consumer design trends and classical industrial elements creates products that are both high quality and robust. The terminals and readers are suitable for use in prestigious office buildings as well as in the more demanding environment of the factory.
The multi-function terminals can be deployed just for time recording, or depending on the configuration, can also be used for access control. Individual additional functions such as fingerprint readers, are available as build-on modules. The design and the layout of the displays are freely definable, allowing customers to implement their own Corporate Design. The 7" Touch screen offers almost limitless possibilities, from the classical Time recording App to a complex Factory Data Collection App or for a high-security solution with access queries supported by a comparison of live images with stored images or for audio-visual communication to a Service Command Centre, e.g. for Data centres. Everything is possible.
LED light sequences signal the various booking actions, such as Arrive, Depart, Business departure, etc. The newly created modular concept facilitates rapid and low-effort servicing and maintenance. Many further functions can also be programmed into the terminals.
Clear, intuitive and functional describe the new prime Visit software from primion, which as its name suggests, has been developed to deliver powerful yet simple visitor administration. prime Visit was developed by primion's Belgian subsidiary, GET. GET is market-leader in Belgium and The Netherlands in the area of Time recording and HR administration software solutions, e.g. Manpower Planning, etc.
As well as facilitating the rapid and flexible registration of visitor data, it also links seamlessly to access control, to allow the granting of timed access rights for visitors or the generation of reports on visitor movements with its logical search functions. Using these search filter options, prime Visit clearly shows how many visitors are currently on site and what their status is. At a single glance, you can see for example which visitors are late for an appointment or those that haven't returned their badges. It offers a self-service module for visitors or contractors using Outlook, for example. Interfaces to various peripheral devices such as a check-in kiosk, a QR code scanner or an ID card scanner are implemented.
Another new addition to the primion product portfolio is the IDT 2x, a modern high-end two-door access control panel that answers the needs of an easily scalable access control infrastructure. The system can process complex logic functions and can be deployed as a freely programmable control panel. The flexible DIN track installation technology enables optimised integrated using standard electrical installation equipment.
