The Costa Rican showman/host said during his NBC radio weekly show “THE MAURICIO RADIO SHOW” on KCAA 1050 AM that the Central American Soccer team has shown a surprising tactical order combined with experienced skilled players who mostly have gained an important place in the biggest soccer leagues in the world (Premiere League & UEFA Champions League, . “It’s all about being humble and recognizing the talent in front of you” Mauricio said. “First, you have to keep your feet on the ground. Costa Rica moved to the quarterfinals of the FIFA 2014 World Cup in Brazil after beating GREECE in a penalty kick shootout on Sunday June 29. COSTA RICA qualified as the first place on a group D after beating URUGUAY (3-1), ITALY (1-0), and a draw against ENGLAND (0-0) obtaining a total of seven points. “Holland is certainly a favorite team to win the cup, however Costa Rica’s team has the virtue of possessing an astonishing tactical order in every line, not to mention that our forward star Bryan Ruiz was named the best player of Netherland’s soccer league few years ago and also had a successful path with the Fulham, our goalkeeper Keylor Navas who just before the World Cup began was the best in the Spaniard league, and our forward Noel Campbell who plays in Greece, so that gives us the edge to know our opponent’s secrets, virtues and possible flaws. I predict that if Costa Rica maintains their system, they can win! Wouldn’t that be awesome for CONCACAF?!” the showman concluded.
