Technology for filling cement into tightly shut PE bags revolutionizes the sector
(PresseBox) - In the sector of packing, HAVER & BOECKER was introducing its HAVER ADAMS® filling system at INTERPACK in Düsseldorf. This is the environmentally friendly packing of powder-type goods into sealed, compact and weather-tight PE bags. The Form Fill Sea (FFS) system has already made a name for itself in the cement industry and can be recommended for increasing performance in the branch foremost through technical improvements. The advantages offered by this type of packaging are appreciated and welcome by customers in every industry.

The FFS bags are not only clean and tightly sealed, their compact size allows space-saving transport and storage. Material loss is prevented, and this has a positive impact on both the environment and on the wallet. It also guarantees a cleaner logistics chain. Moreover, storage times are extended considerably, which especially provides an advantage for hydroscopic goods. Also storage outside, which involves minimal costs, is possible.
And when it comes to marketing, plastic bags have a significant plus-point in that they can be format-printed over the complete surface and in multiple colours, e.g. photo-like print, product information and bar codes.
Ease of operation and noise protection are also important features in addition to the high packing speeds of a modern packing plant. The complete encapsulation of the HAVER ADAMS® keeps noise levels at a low level. In addition to noise protection, this results in considerable dust reduction.
A significant increase in performance has led to more acceptance in the cement sector. After its market introduction nine years ago, the ADAMS® was improved so that it could meet the toughest customer demands when it comes to speed and product variety. While in the beginning speeds of 1200 bags/hr could be reached in an environmentally way with powder-type products, namely cement, today speeds of up to 2000 bags/hr can be reached. Recently a high speed HAVER ADAMS® 10 withstood a performance test at a Belgian customer in the cement industry and is thus the first ADAMS® in this class in continental Europe.
The ADAMS® can act as the heart of a turnkey plant in the cement industry, whereby the HAVER Group provides the customer full expertise in generating solutions.
