Eurofins Genomics Signs Contract to Supply Oligonucleotides and DNA Sequencing to Research Councils
(PresseBox) - 05.2014 - UK Shared Business Services Limited selects Eurofins Genomics as preferred supplier for oligonucleotides and DNA sequencing services.
Eurofins Genomics, international market leader in genomic services, has signed a two year contract with the UK Shared Business Services Ltd (UK SBS) formerly RCUK Shared Services Centre Ltd, as one of the preferred suppliers of both oligonucleotides and DNA sequencing on the recently awarded framework contract. The contract builds on the long standing relationship developed as a preferred supplier to the research councils for over seven years.
UK SBS has been set up by the seven research councils of the UK to provide centralised services to the research councils and their institutes in human resources, finance, procurement, information technology, information systems and grants processing. The shared service approach reduces costs whilst raising operational efficiency for the councils.
