In January 2014, our company was placed again first in the "industry + skilled trades" category of the iF Product Design Awards with the spray-coating machine VEN SPRAY VARIO. As a trend barometer for outstanding design achievements, the prize sets the trend for future developments.
Managing director Christian Nüßer: "Fantastic success for Venjakob. This proves that once againmechanical engineering and good design are not mutually exclusive; on the contrary, it can be complementary." The iF Product Design Award 2014 involved 4615 participants from 55 countries were evaluated by an international jury.
The iF Product Design Award is a multifaceted competition for all areas of product design. It offers design-related innovations a platform to establish themselves and thus contributes to the global nature and dynamics of the contemporary. The award has been the hallmark of good design since 1953. The criteria of the jury included design quality, workmanship, choice of material, degree of innovation, environmental compatibility, functionality, ergonomics, visualisation of use, safety, brand equity/branding and aspects of universal design.
