Mikrotron quality? Now ISO certified
Shortly before the end of the year, Mikrotron Mikrocomputer, Digital- und Analogtechnik GmbH successfully completed the certification process begun in fall and is now certified according to ISO 9001:2008.
(PresseBox) - "We have already received a lot of positive feedback from satisfied customers on the quality of our products. So, as part of the certification process, it was particularly important to us to also comprehensively put our processes through their paces," says CEO Christian Pilzer.
Under the strict supervision of auditors from TÜV Süd, all areas of the company were put under the microscope. This included everything from the ongoing, systematic training of employees, to structured project management, consistent quality assurance, and from the processing of initial inquiries to the implementation of customer-specific requirements in production and support for existing projects. All aspects were put to the test.
The scope of the areas put up for certification also reflects Mikrotron?s desire for a comprehensive audit. "The tests were deliberately not only applied to the core business of high-speed cameras. We want to show that customers are on the safe side with Mikrotron in other investment decisions as well ? be they individually configured industrial PCs or contract manufacturing of electronic components," explains Christian Pilzer.
With the audit successfully completed in December 2013, TÜV Süd certified that Mikrotron meets the requirements for a quality management system according to ISO 9001:2008. "For us, the result of the audit is no reason to sit back and rest on our laurels," says Christian Pilzer. "By continuously improving ? a key guiding principle of ISO standards ? Mikrotron will always remain a reliable partner for its customers."
