Ingo Burbach becomes the new Head of Exports at SpanSet GmbH & Co. KG

(firmenpresse) - Ingo Burbach (39) will take over as Head of Exports at SpanSet GmbH & Co. KG on 1. January 2014 in Übach-Palenberg. He becomes the successor to Günter Könen, who has for several years prepared the way for his takeover as Export manager and who will support him in a transition phase with the development of the French market.

The qualified industrial salesman and graduate in business administration, Ingo Burbach, began his career at SpanSet as an employee of the subsidiary SpanSet Secutex, where he worked as an export coordinator until August 2001. After that Burbach took on a position at SpanSet of sales representative in the area of exports. Lastly he was employed as an area sales manager for SpanSet. Ingo Burbach is besides a full executive member of the extended SpanSet management board.
Burbach, a thoroughbred salesman, is the ideal choice for the position of Head of Exports. He speaks several foreign languages, among others Dutch and English fluently. As a sales rep in the field, he also looked after German customers and traders for a time in the capacity of applications engineer. Furthermore he has been the referent for hoisting and lashing technology integrated into the SpanSet reference team and a member of the internal workshop for lifting technology.

In addition Ingo Burbach has extensive international experience and contacts, not only in the European markets, but also in the Far East, in the Near and Middle East, in the GUS States as well as in Scandinavia and South America. Among the intentions of the new Head of Exports is the desire to further advance the internationalization of the globally active concern: "It is my aim to extend the existing worldwide markets for the SpanSet group and to develop new ones".

The SpanSet group is already engaged in sales to, and has its own production facilities in, Europa, Asia, Australia as well as North and South America and is therefore well prepared to take advantage of the increase in international projects in the areas of lifting technology, load security and fall protection systems. Spanset-Deutschland has a special role to play for the company with Swedish roots and a Swiss head office, because its international business is also conducted from here. With an export share of above 40 per cent, a relevant amount of turnover generated in Germany can be ascribed to foreign trade.
