Brock Capital Group Hires Jon Crockett as Managing Director, M&A Advisory Services

Crockett will lead Brock's West Coast M&A advisory practice with a focus on Technology, Internet and IT Services clients. He joins Brock from Embark Partners and brings over 20 years of consulting experience with leading technology companies including Cisco, Symantec, IBM, McAfee, Websense, Yahoo, Knova, Blue Shield, Network General, Sniffer and Foundstone. In addition, Crockett has advised energy companies on smart-grid energy management strategies for clients such as Chevron, Texaco, Enron and select public utilities. Crockett joins an accomplished and highly respected team of professionals led by Dino Mauricio, Chief Operating Officer, M&A Advisory Services for Brock Capital.
Prior to joining Brock, Crockett was Managing Partner for Embark Partners, Inc. based in Cupertino, CA. Crockett and Brock Capital are committed to supporting Embark Partners' existing client projects while leveraging Brock's expanded suite of M&A capabilities for new clients. Crockett's transaction advisory expertise ranges broadly from strategy, valuation, deal execution, and due diligence through the planning, execution and completion of the post-merger integration activities.
Earlier in his career, Crockett served as a senior consultant with IBM's Global Services, Strategy and Change practice supporting large multi-national M&A transactions. For nearly 20 years, Crockett has been a trusted advisor to Fortune 500 and SMB clients in a variety of industries supporting projects involving M&A transactions, operations, go-to-market strategies, growth, restructuring, and investment due diligence.
