Alison Beddard of Cushman & Wakefield | Commerce Named to 2014 CREW Network National Board of Directors
(firmenpresse) - SALT LAKE CITY, UT -- (Marketwired) -- 10/31/13 -- () is proud to announce that Alison Beddard has been elected to serve as a member of the 2014 national Board of Directors for the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network. Beddard's appointment will span a 2 year term beginning in January, 2014.
Beddard is an office and investment broker and director at the Salt Lake City-based commercial real estate firm of Cushman & Wakefield | Commerce, one of the largest alliance firms in the Cushman & Wakefield network. It has offices in Utah, Nevada, Washington and Idaho.
"The mission of CREW Network centers on influencing the success of the commercial real estate industry by advancing the achievements of women," Beddard said. "I have personally seen the powerful benefits of the CREW Network and I feel extremely honored to serve in a national capacity to help lead this dynamic and significant organization over the next few years in an exciting and evolving business environment."
Beddard has built a successful brokerage practice representing local and regional companies, non-profit organizations and institutions in all aspects of commercial brokerage, and has closed more than $46 million in transactions from 2010-2012.
Her involvement began with CREW Utah in 2008. She served as chair of the Membership Committee from 2008-2010, and served as president-elect and chair of the Sponsorship Committee in 2011. She was chapter president in 2012 and under her leadership, the chapter's annual sponsorship and membership increased by 80 percent. She is currently finishing her third year on the CREW Utah Board of Directors as past president. She is a 2013 Honoree of Utah Business Magazine's "40 Under 40" and serves on the Salt Lake City Downtown Master Plan Advisory Group as the commercial real estate liaison.
Among other responsibilities as part the national board for CREW Network, Beddard will be a liaison to several local chapters and she will be responsible for portions of two leadership summits each year as well as the national convention, which will be held September 30 - October 3, 2014 at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida.
