New UV- Flood-Lamp Systems provide more consistent Intensities
(PresseBox) - The ECE Series UV Light-Curing Flood-Lamp Systems, recently introduced by Dymax Corporation, are UV Light-Curing Flood-Lamp Systems designed to optimize safety and convenience for process-controlled cures of adhesives, coatings and inks. The systems are available with two types of reflector housings creating cure size areas of 12,7 x 12,7 cm or 20,3 x 20,3 cm. The ECE Series is designed for parts with large bond lines or for simultaneously curing multiple parts in trays and can be used as either turnkey bench-top units or integrated into an automated assembly process. Typical industrial applications include bonding, coating, sealing, and encapsulating within the automotive, electronic, optical, and medical device assembly industries.
The systems are equipped with a 400-Watt metal halide (longwave UVA) bulb. Two additional bulb options (shortwave and visible) are also available. The bulbs are warranted for 2,000 hours and offer the industry?s most consistent intensity. The ECE Series UV Light-Curing Flood-Lamp Systems ensure fully cured products and fast cure times resulting in increased manufacturing yields.
The auto ranging power supply allows worldwide use and provides consistent output of UV light even with changing voltage input. The consistent power supplied to the bulb results in increased bulb life and less degradation of intensity. Combined with a UV light shield and shutter, the ECE Series offers a complete protection from UV light and enable a worker friendly environment.
