Poverty Row LLC, an Independent Film Investment Company, Partners With Alan Del Tufo on "The Cineplex"
(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 10/10/13 -- Poverty Row LLC, an independent film financing company, is pleased to announce their partnership with Alan Del Tufo to take "The Cineplex" from an award-winning short to a feature length film. "After speaking with Alan I was excited to work with this up and coming director and writer. His directing in his latest release, Eternal Damn Nation, inspired us at Poverty Row LLC to put the work into making this film," Velardo states.
Poverty Row LLC has been working to bring financing to Independent films over the past three years. "We have seen the film market change dramatically and non traditional methods of financing had to be explored," Joseph Velardo stated. As president, Joseph has been working to develop the fund with a focused long-term growth for its Investors and for the films themselves. Poverty Row LLC works with a group of Funds that specialize in structured financing of films and film slates. In the past year the film finance market has continued to change and adapt but we have seen a resurgence of interest in filmmaking. "We look for projects with a solid cast, strong business plan and financial attachments," Velardo stated.
While the financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed, Joseph Velardo maintains that the deal is forthcoming based on several internal factors. "Our vision has been to grow our fund and look for a project that would represent the type of work we admire," Velardo said.
Poverty Row LLC has built an investment fund for Independent films. "With the departure of the standard methods of financing independent films, we see a unique opportunity to fill this void," Velardo stated. "The Cineplex is a great film and we are excited to have this film represent our new fund."
