The Quebec Chapter of FEI Canada Announces its Board of Directors for 2013-2014
(firmenpresse) - MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwired) -- 10/01/13 -- The Quebec Chapter of Financial Executives International Canada (FEI Canada), an all-industry professional association for senior financial executives, is pleased to announce the composition of its Board of Directors for 2013-2014. Following an electronic ballot conducted from June 10 to July 5, 2013, the board was officially revealed on September 26 at the Annual General Meeting, held during the cocktail reception at Grevin Montreal in honour of the Chapter's new members.
Louis Marcotte is the new Quebec Chapter President, succeeding Carl Gauvreau, who has completed a three-year term. Well-known to members and the community, Mr. Marcotte has been a member of the Quebec Chapter of FEI Canada for eleven years, and has been involved on its board for ten. Having previously served on the National Board of Directors of FEI Canada, over the years he has taken on various responsibilities on the board of the Quebec Chapter, putting him in a strong position to take on his new role as Chair. Mr. Marcotte will be supported by 15 board members in pursuing the organization's mission and continuing to promote the senior financial profession in Quebec.

The Board of Directors of the Quebec Chapter of FEI Canada is made up of experienced volunteer members actively contributing to the growth of the organization, which currently includes 187 professionals working in companies with a significant impact on economic activity in Quebec.
Acting as a catalyst to strengthen its members' leadership in the financial community, the Quebec Chapter of FEI Canada is a dynamic organization offering numerous networking opportunities, and knowledge transfer and professional development activities. Among these, the Financial Executive Forum 2013 is fast approaching and will be held on November 20. The Chapter also organizes the prestigious "Aces of Finance" competition, which recognizes the contribution of Quebec's exceptional financial leaders and is now in its fourth year.
