August at the Calgary Food Bank
(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 08/01/13 -- Since the unprecedented flooding in June, we know that the effects will continue in the coming weeks, even months. While hunger is a year-round problem, people who may have never used the food bank may now have to turn to us during their rebuilding process.
The Calgary Food Bank recognizes that when situations are already strained, the added bills from this flood may stress many financially. And that is why we are here: to support individuals and families during a time of crisis. If you or someone you know could use assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us at 403-253-2055 or visit .
As always, all special events and campaigns will ensure that the Calgary Food Bank can continue to support the needs of Calgarians and Southern Albertans.
