(PresseBox) - For professional recyclers and for the recycling of mixed plastics, HERBOLD Meckesheim GmbH (www.herbold.com) is a hallmark name. The whole range of machines from shredders via granulators, washing and separation lines to plastcompactors make up the product line of the machine and plant manufacturer from Meckesheim close to Heidelberg.
An impressive line-up of new developments will be displayed at Booth B 42 in Hall 9, illustrating the new trend of always bigger with an always higher throughput and a better quality with less energy consumption.
The new mechanical dryer (type HVT) with a vertical rotor arrangement is a particularly space-saving and extremely service-friendly version. Energy consumption is with certain materials such as PET flakes considerably lower than with former models.
A new model of friction washers will be launched, the FA 60/300 type covering the performance range of 2 - 3 t/h for films and 4 - 6 t/h for rigid plastics.
Granulators will be represented by two exhibits: the SML 45/60 SB, a machine with forced feeding, rounding off our successful range of energy-saving granulators with forced feeding; and a machine of the SMS series for heavy-duty applications which will do the job of size reducing massive plates and pipes.
A Plastcompactor of the HV 50 series for continuous agglomeration of films, fibres, foams and dust can be used for producing raw material with excellent flow properties and high bulk density.

A machine of the medium performance range, the PU 650 with a vertical shaft will also be on display
