Mr. Moore served on the Board of the Fund since 2004 and his contributions over this period benefited the Fund greatly, for which we are immensely grateful. His presence will be sadly missed and we would like to offer our deepest sympathy to his wife, Angela and to his Family.
The New Ireland Fund is a closed-end diversified investment company that seeks long-term capital appreciation through investing at least 80% of its assets in a portfolio of Irish securities. The Fund, which is managed by Kleinwort Benson Investors International Limited, is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the trading symbol "IRL".
