Ingram Micro Europe accelerates market growth opportunities with launch of Advanced Solutions Division
Ingram Micro Europe continues to redefine the VAD model to fuel success of channel partners in the midmarket and small business environments
(PresseBox) - 05.2013 - Ingram Micro Europe, a division of Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM), the world's largest wholesale technology distributor and a global leader in IT supply-chain, mobile device lifecycle services and logistics solutions, today announced a new, integrated Advanced Solutions Division across its European country operations.
The new Ingram Micro Advanced Solutions Division delivers greater opportunity, specialization and business value to channel partners in Europe who market, sell and support higher-end technology solutions and services. Built to meet the business and technical needs of vendors and solution providers, this VAD division offers channel partners a comprehensive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities within advanced technology categories such as unified communications and collaboration, data center infrastructure, networking and security, enterprise software, and cloud services.
"The addition of this overarching advanced and emerging technology division allows Ingram Micro to provide the specialization, high customer touch and dedicated resources necessary to further advance our channel partners into midmarket and small business opportunities and help them capture more profitable growth," says Alain Maquet, senior executive vice president and president, Ingram Micro Europe.
Jason Beal, recently appointed Executive Director and General Manager, will lead the division. Jason has extensive experience in the IT channel in both Europe and North America in sales, operations, and services roles, along with a proven track record of building strong vendor and customer relationships. Jason is an eight year Ingram Micro veteran and previously was a vice president of a value-added distributor in the enterprise storage and content management space.
