Local Apartments Working to Make Difference for Dallas Children
(firmenpresse) - DALLAS, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 12/11/12 -- As many Dallas businesses hunker down for the holiday months, The Zang Triangle are gearing up with a holiday toy drive benefitting local children. The apartments are hosting a Toys for Tots toy drive, running through December 19th. The toy drive is an opportunity for Dallas residents to make a difference in the lives of less fortunate children in the community. Supporters may bring a new, unwrapped toy to the Zang Triangle leasing office Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
"The staff is absolutely thrilled to take part in this effort. The Toys for Tots drive is a great way to give back to the community that supports us," says Kathryn Hatcher, Property Manager for The Hanover Company, which manages the Zang Triangle . "The toy drive helps us and our residents keep the holiday season in perspective. We strongly encourage the Dallas community to join in kind by supporting this drive and other efforts during the holiday season."
The Toys for Tots drive stands to become tradition at the new development. The Zang Triangle apartments are only a year old, but have quickly become a landmark near downtown Dallas and the Bishop Arts District. The Toys for Tots program was founded in 1947 by United States Marine Corps reservists in Los Angeles. Since its inception, the foundation has collected almost 100 million toys across all 50 states. The Toys for Tots foundation was also awarded a prestigious 4-star rating by Charity Navigator.
The Zang Triangle staff is already impressed by the response from its residents; however encourage the community to continue their support.
