Executive Team Appointment Demonstrates Commitment to Growth in Critical Customer Segment
(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 12/03/12 -- Wolters Kluwer Corporate Legal Services (CLS) today announced that Raja Sengupta has joined the company as the executive vice president and general manager for SMB Solutions, the company's unit dedicated to serving small- and medium-sized businesses.
Sengupta will lead a growing team focused on providing compliance solutions to small- and mid-sized corporate customers and entrepreneurs, and the law firms that serve them. He will also focus on elevating SMB Solutions' position in the incorporation services and registered agent services marketplace under the go-to-market brands BizFilings, National Registered Agents, Inc. (NRAI) and CT Corporation.
A tenured leader with a proven track record driving innovation, Sengupta has more than 15 years of senior-level experience in the financial services and information management industries. His expertise includes acquisition, marketing, loyalty analytics, cross-sell effectiveness and customer segmentation strategies, all of which align with SMB Solutions' customer-focused platform. Sengupta's appointment reflects CLS's commitment to accelerating momentum in executing its growth strategy across its portfolio of brands.

Prior to joining CLS, Sengupta was the general manager and head of Global Merchant Financing at American Express, where he led a team that was responsible for providing working capital financing for small- and medium-sized American Express card accepting merchants. Previously, Sengupta led the analytics practice of Inductis, a consulting firm based in New York, working on decision sciences and analytics-driven strategy for large financial and information services clients across the globe.
