Smart fisherman in the data flood reels in international design prize

The product film, which was developed and produced by the agency spot°entwicklung, was chosen out of 6,823 entries from 43 different countries. The spot summarizes the key benefits and unique selling points of the software InfoZoom in an understandable, amusing manner by making parallels to a fisherman who no longer fishes in the dark. InfoZoom is targeted to business professionals and decision-makers who have to analyze growing amounts of data without IT support, and the Fraunhofer Institute has developed this powerful, in-memory analytic tool for this exact purpose. With just a few mouse clicks, users without special IT skills can leverage the full potential of their business data and find the answers they need in their day-to-day work. The award-winning spot illustrates the prime benefits of the analytic tool including its distinctive way of displaying a bird?s eye view of the complete data pool and flexible analytic capabilities with a few mouse clicks.
Stephan Hofer, who is responsible for marketing and PR at humanIT Software GmbH, is delighted about the award for spot°entwicklung. ?Although the Fraunhofer Institute developed InfoZoom 15 years ago, the underlying idea is omnipresent in current IT trends such as self-service BI or ad hoc analysis.
