Agreement Extends Service Portfolio, Strengthens Reliability and Speeds Time to Market
(firmenpresse) - SUNNYVALE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/22/12 -- CenterBeam, Inc., a pioneer in hosted IT services, today announced that Agile Frameworks LLC is deploying CenterBeam's offerings to provide cloud-based solutions to its architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) clients. Agile Frameworks, a leading provider of enterprise field information management systems, consulting and managed services for the AEC market, selected CenterBeam to replace its own hosting infrastructure, as well as to establish a platform from which it can begin to offer other cloud-based applications in its vertical niche.

Agile Frameworks selected CenterBeam for several reasons, including and long history and expertise in supporting hosted applications. Specifically, Agile Frameworks sought a vendor with robust capabilities that offer failover and replication. CenterBeam's SAS-70, Type II Certification with triple redundancy built throughout every aspect of the infrastructure enables Agile Frameworks to offer greater disaster recovery for its own applications and support customer service level agreements (SLAs). Another factor was CenterBeam's experience with Microsoft SharePoint and hosting, which would enhance support of Agile Frameworks' AgilePort™ service. AgilePort was developed to leverage SharePoint's functionality for document management and distribution in the AEC market.
CenterBeam's solution also gives Agile Frameworks the ability to quickly begin offering new services in the future. After the initial deployment is complete, Agile Frameworks expects to use to enhance troubleshooting for Tier 1 calls, enabling Agile Frameworks staff to focus on more complicated customer service requests. Agile Frameworks also said that it ultimately would like to expand disaster recovery services from solely its own applications to its clients' applications, as well, which could be easily accomplished with the CenterBeam platform.
