The National Center for Health Statistics reports that births fell 2.6 percent in 2010 and the Centers for Disease Control say the birth rate is continuing a 12-year decline. It's now at the lowest level since their national data has been available.

The trend may be partially attributed to the popularity in shows such as the "Biggest Loser" on NBC. Americans are focusing more on becoming healthier and losing weight. "The tummy tuck procedure is a logical solution, because exercise can't repair weakened or torn muscles caused by stretching."
