Black Hills IP Expands - Announces Two New Facilities
(firmenpresse) - MINNEAPOLIS, MN -- (Marketwire) -- 01/11/12 -- Black Hills IP, LLC announces today that it has added two new facilities: a service center in Rapid City, South Dakota, and a combination training, service and administration facility in Minneapolis, MN. Black Hills IP provides and to intellectual property law firms and in-house legal departments. Its unprecedented growth is part of the national trend of firms moving their legal support services back to the US from India.
According to Ann McCrackin, Black Hills President, "We have been impressed with the demand for our services and are responding by investing in new service centers in Rapid City, South Dakota and Minneapolis." The Rapid City service center is the former Northrop Grumman engineering campus and is located at 1241 Concourse Drive. Black Hills IP will move 30 of its employees into that facility January 20, 2012 and plans to add another 25 employees over the next year. The Minneapolis facility is located at Suite 800 of the TCF Tower and will be operational on January 16, 2012 with approximately 10 relocated employees.
According to McCrackin, "We are growing because a number of the nation's largest intellectual property law firms and departments are moving away from offshore support and are relying more on US support services. We are able to be cost competitive with offshore providers through a combination of automation and higher US worker productivity."
