Quality Care IPA Adds University Medical Center Quick Care and Primary Care Doctors to Growing List of Providers
(firmenpresse) - LAS VEGAS, NV -- (Marketwire) -- 12/13/11 -- Quality Care IPA, a new, locally-based independent physician association (IPA), announces the addition of University Medical Center (UMC) Quick Care and Primary Care Center physicians to an existing network of over 400 Primary and Specialty care doctors. The goal of the IPA expansion is to provide patients timely and convenient access to care. UMC Quick Care and Primary Care Centers are a key building block to achieving this goal.
UMC Primary Care and Quick Care Centers are owned and operated by University Medical Center, which is the only state-designated Level I Trauma and Burn Center in Nevada. University Medical Center is also the only hospital in the state to receive the distinguished American Heart Association's Gold Plus award this year for the care of cardiac patients.
UMC Quick Care Centers provide urgent and ongoing care for patients of all ages, often times with no appointment necessary. The Urgent Care centers are conveniently located at 10 sites throughout the Las Vegas Valley, and the Primary Care Centers bring 23 new Primary Care Physicians to the current IPA network.
In addition to an extensive network of primary care and specialty services, Quality Care IPA offers dedicated live customer support, convenient laboratory locations, timely access to specialty care, and affiliation with all hospitals throughout the Las Vegas Valley. Quality Care IPA service recipients are Medicare-eligible and have selected United HealthCare Medicare Complete as their Medicare Advantage HMO.
