Points Athabasca FHQ- A New Partnership
(firmenpresse) - SASKATOON, SASKATCHEWAN -- (Marketwire) -- 11/30/11 -- FHQ Developments with Graham Business Trust and Points Athabasca Contracting LP have entered into a new Part- nership named Points Athabasca FHQ.
Points Athabasca FHQ is a First Nations partnership in southern Saskatchewan that is focused on the engagement of First Nations people in Saskatchewan's growing economy. The new company will provide a solution to clients seeking the participation of the fast-growing First Nations population in the province. Points Athabasca FHQ will provide a meaningful and sustainable role for First Nations in business development, gradually replacing the aging workforce and promoting community growth. First Nations communities, businesses and clients will benefit from the formation of the new venture through its full services, offering industrial, commercial and infrastructure construction capacity.

FHQ Developments is comprised of 11 First Nation communities in southern Saskatchewan: Carry the Kettle, Little Black Bear's Band, Nekaneet, Okanese, Pasqua, Peepeekisis, Piapot, Standing Buffalo, Star Blanket, Wood Mountain and Muscowpetung. In 2010, these communities formed FHQTC Developments Limited Liability Partnership to establish themselves in the corporate business community. FHQ Developments was appointed their General Partner, charged with the mandate of carrying on all economic development business activities for and on behalf of the Limited Liability Partnership.
Points Athabasca Contracting LP is a partnership between Athabasca Basin Development LP and Graham Group Ltd. It is a First Nations owned and operated company that offers numerous general contracting services throughout Saskatchewan and beyond. Graham Group Ltd. is a highly successful construction company with over 85 years of experience in Saskatchewan.
