Nonprofit Wish Upon a Teen Hosts "Teen Spa Day" for Eight Young Women Battling Cancer 11/21
(firmenpresse) - BEVERLY HILLS, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/16/11 -- Teen actress Raven Goodwin ("Ivy" on Disney's Good Luck Charlie) joins eight female teenagers battling cancer for pampering during a complimentary "Teen Spa Day," hosted by Wish Upon a Teen, a nonprofit organization devoted to making a difference in the lives of teens who are recovering from traumatic experiences, on Monday, November 21, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the renowned Sonya Dakar Skin Clinic located at 9975 Santa Monica Blvd. in Beverly Hills.
The participating patients of Mattel Children's Hospital UCLA will receive:
Skin care education and facials by word-class skin care specialist Sonya Dakar ()
Manicures and pedicures from OPI ()
Hair education and styling from hairstylist Paul Ohana, with hair products donated from Living Proof ()
Make-up application and cosmetic gifts from Stila ()
Food provided by Paleta Catering ()
Representatives from both Stila cosmetics and Paleta catering, who are cancer survivors, will be on site to share their experience and to deliver a message of hope to the teens attending the event. Sonya Dakar will be donating proceeds during the holiday season of her Organic Omega Booster to Wish Upon A Teen.
