New RoHS-compliant bandpass filters from SCHNEIDER KREUZNACH

ID: 1054379

(PresseBox) - Schneider-Kreuznach has expanded its range of RoHS-compliant bandpass filters. In addition to the blue bandpass filter (BP 465-70), new yellow (BP 575-175 and BP 590-200) and red (BP 640-100 and NIR BP 865-100) bandpass filters are now available. Designed for machine vision applications that use NIR LED, the BP 865-100 bandpass filter transmits light at 865 nm +/- 50 nm while blocking all other troublesome wavelengths.
The thickness of the bandpass filter is kept to a minimum. Multiple thin layer coatings filter the designed wavelength range at very high optical quality. The effective thickness of the individual layers and therefore the spectral characteristics of the filters depend on the angle of incidence. All new Schneider-Kreuznach bandpass filters are RoHS-compliant [Restriction of (the use of certain) hazardous substances]. They are available unmounted in 10 to 74 mm diameters or mounted in the common filter threads M25.5 to M67.
Furthermore Schneider Kreuznach now offers edge sealed polarisers for applications in harsh environment.
More information on these new Schneider-Kreuznach products is available from 8 to 11 November at VISION 2011 in Stuttgart, Hall 4, Stand 4D18. Or visit our website at http://schneiderkreuznach.com/industrial_filters/industrial_filters.htm.
