Give a Forever Home to an Adoptable Pet at PetSmart Charities(R) National Adoption Weekend, November 11-13
(firmenpresse) - PHOENIX, AZ -- (Marketwire) -- 10/31/11 -- If you've been considering adopting a new four-legged family member, consider saving a life at the , Nov. 11-13. Together with more than 2,000 animal welfare organizations across North America, this three-day event will take place in more than 1,187 PetSmart® stores in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico and will showcase nearly 17,000 wonderful adoptable pets.
Proudly sponsored by Purina® Pro Plan®, Tidy Cats® and PetSmart® in the U.S. and Puerto Rico and Purina® Pro Plan®, MAXX Scoop® and PetSmart® in Canada, the event is the final national adoption weekend in 2011. With the support of the pet parent community, nearly 51,000 pets have been adopted into lifelong, loving homes this year.

As an added benefit, PetSmart Charities will provide increased adoption-reward grants to all participating shelters and rescue agencies; in fact, all agencies can receive $35 from PetSmart Charities for every pet they adopt in stores between Nov. 11-13.
Since 1994, PetSmart Charities has led pet-adoption efforts across North America, helping more than 4.7 million pets find homes through the PetSmart Charities adoption centers. PetSmart Charities is also the leading funder of animal-welfare efforts and has provided $134 million in grants and funding.
