Boston-Based Bretts Luggage and Gifts Celebrates 60 Years in Business
Retailer to Mark Its Sixth Decade Selling Luggage With Special Promotions and Customer Giveaways, 10/15 and 10/16
(firmenpresse) - SUDBURY, MA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/12/11 -- Bretts Luggage and Gifts, a Boston-based luggage and travel bag retailer, will celebrate its 60th anniversary on October 15 and 16, 2011. The staff at Bretts welcomes customers and guests to join in the celebration at 435 Boston Post Rd., Sudbury, Mass., 01776. There will be special promotions, giveaways, and more from some of travel's top brands.

Bretts Luggage and Gifts has been outfitting travelers since 1951 when it began operation at Shopper's World, a historic, early suburban shopping mall located in Framingham, Massachusetts, which also opened in 1951. Bretts was the only retail store at Shopper's World that stayed for the entirety of the mall's operation -- 42 years. In 1992, the mall was sold, and officially closed in 1993.
After the closing of Shopper's World, Bretts Luggage and Gifts moved to Sudbury, Massachusetts, and has remained at the location ever since. In 1996, Bretts launched , and has sold luggage and travel accessories to customers worldwide for the past 15 years.
For sixty years, Bretts Luggage & Gifts has provided suitcases and accessories for everything travel, from luggage collections and backpacks to briefcases and computer bags. In 1996, was launched -- one of the first in the luggage industry -- to offer its products on a global stage.
