The Russell Middle East North Africa (MENA) Index Down (-12.6%) YTD Through September 19
(firmenpresse) - SEATTLE, WA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/21/11 -- The Russell Middle East North Africa Index (MENA) reflected a (-12.6%) loss year-to-date, with all sectors posting negative returns through September 19, 2011. The producer durables and financial services sectors were the greatest underperformers year-to-date, posting declines of (-18.4%) and (-12.3%) respectively. Quarter-to-date, the consumer discretionary sector reflected the strongest return (-0.3%), while the energy sector posted a decline of (-13.9%) through September 19. The Russell MENA Index reflected a (-5.6%) return quarter-to-date through September 19, 2011.
