Recovery Fund Set Up for Bill Wogan, Arizona Victim of Reno Air Show
(firmenpresse) - PHOENIX, AZ -- (Marketwire) -- 09/20/11 -- On the heels of Friday's tragedy at the Reno Air Show, the family of Bill Wogan has set up a recovery support fund to aid him with the hospital and financial expenses during his long road to recovery. Bill was critically injured while attending the air show with his son Michael Wogan, who was killed at the scene.
Bill lost his right eye and some fingers on his right hand. His face has more than 100 fractures and he remains in critical condition.
"Though he is improving, and we have every expectation that he will return to a full and productive life, he faces a very difficult recovery period," stated Diana Hoover, Bill's sister-in-law. "The doctors have told us that Bill will not be able to leave the hospital and return home to Scottsdale any time soon. Given the serious nature of his injuries, it is unclear now when he will be able to return to work." Bill's wife, Ellen Wogan, will remain at his side during the upcoming surgeries and recovery.
Due to the very serious financial hardships the family is facing, in addition to the physical difficulties Bill will have to overcome, an account has been established for donations.
