(firmenpresse) - BURLINGTON, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 09/09/11 -- BMO Bank of Montreal invites members of the community to celebrate the grand opening of its new full-service branch in Burlington at 3027 Appleby Line, located at the intersection of Appleby Line and Dundas, in Alton Village.
Alton Village is a newly developed community in Burlington, with capacity for 3,000 houses and 8,000 residents. The branch is BMO's sixth in the Burlington area, and represents a $1.8 million investment in the community.
"Burlington's robust economy boasts a relatively low jobless rate of 6.4 per cent in July and is exposed to a wide range of industries including advanced manufacturing, information technology and finance," said Robert Kavcic, Economist, BMO Capital Markets.
In order to meet the needs of its growing customer base, the new branch is outfitted with the latest banking conveniences, including:
