Wood Partners Expands Acquisition Team With Veteran Multifamily Executive Jane Maushardt
New Senior Vice President of Acquisitions Will Spearhead Wood Partners' Drive to Expand Its Multifamily Platform in Western U.S.
(firmenpresse) - ATLANTA, GA -- (Marketwire) -- 08/30/11 -- Wood Partners, L.L.C., one of the nation's largest and most active multifamily companies, announced today the hiring of Jane Maushardt as Senior Vice President of Acquisitions for the western United States.
Maushardt, whose career has focused on multifamily acquisitions for the past 22 years, will be responsible for Wood Partners' acquisition activity in California, Colorado, Arizona and the Pacific Northwest.
"Wood Partners is a company with a great track record on the development side and they've moved aggressively into apartment acquisitions. I welcome the opportunity to help build the acquisitions program in the western states for this well-capitalized but still very entrepreneurial company," said Maushardt.
Maushardt, who has closed over 15,000 units with a valuation of just under $2 billion, has held executive positions in acquisitions for both RREEF Alternative Investments and BRE Properties Inc. In addition, she held senior regional western acquisitions positions with SSR Realty Advisors and Archon Group.

As Director of Acquisitions for RREEF, Maushardt was responsible for identifying, negotiating, underwriting and closing $1.16 billion worth of investment grade and value-added apartment properties in major western U.S. markets.
During her tenure as Vice President at Acquisitions for BRE, Maushardt was responsible for acquiring 6,169 units totaling $421 million. She also supervised and trained a staff of investment analysts and conceived and oversaw the establishment of a new market research department. Most recently she was Associate Partner with Hendricks & Partners, the nation's largest apartment sales and research firm.

Since launching its acquisition initiative in mid 2010, Wood Partners has become a significant presence in the multifamily acquisition business, acquiring over 4,200 units with a total capital investment of more than $400 million dollars.
