IVU’s good business performance continues in the first six months of 2011
IVU Traffic Technologies AG has once again produced improved performance figures in the first half-year 2011, continuing the positive trend of recent years. The gross profit rose by 6 percent in comparison with the same period in the previous year to EUR 13.4 million, while EBIT increased by EUR 104,000 to EUR 113,000. The six-month revenue of € 15.9 million is also slightly up on the interim figure for last year (2010: € 15.7 million). The demand for IVU’s IT solutions for public transport and logistics continues to be high.
(firmenpresse) - The products of the IVU.suite have again conquered new markets and sectors. Following on from the state railways of Hungary, Finland, Italy and Switzerland, Portugal’s Caminhos de Ferro Portugueses (CP) will now also utilise IVU.rail for train and rail personnel scheduling. In Germany, Stadtwerke Münster is one of the first public utilities introducing electronic ticketing. Therefore they have placed an order for the e-ticketing solution of IVU. By the end of 2012 all its bus passengers will be able to make cashless fare payments using their new chip cards.
