MEDIA ADVISORY: BMO Capital Markets to Host Annual Fixed Income Perspectives Conference
(firmenpresse) - CHICAGO, ILLINOIS -- (Marketwire) -- 08/03/11 -- BMO Capital Markets, the investment and corporate banking arm of BMO Financial Group (NYSE: BMO)(TSX: BMO), will hold its annual Fixed Income Perspectives Conference on Friday, August 12 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago.
The conference, which will be hosted by Justin Hoogendoorn, Managing Director, U.S. Fixed Income, and Dimitri Delis, Director, U.S. Fixed Income, BMO Capital Markets, will include a keynote address by Michael Moskow, former President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, as well as a number of discussions on topics such as municipal credit and asset liability management. There will also be a regulatory & accounting update for financial institutions and a discussion on convexity.
"Employment, housing, oil and debt are creating potential headwinds that can stop the economy from moving forward," said Mr. Hoogendoorn. "This event will not only look at the potential impact of these factors on the U.S. economy, but also at how new government regulation and spending patterns are changing the bond market.
