G&D at Swedish Broadcast Fair
CATCenter NEO16 on Scandinavian broadcast market
(PresseBox) - In May this year, the Scandinavian broadcasting elite met at the LLB Expo 2011 in Stockholm. The LLB Expo is regarded as the leading fair in the areas of audio, video, lighting and media technology in Scandinavia. Every two years, it attracts a worldwide audience in the north of Europe.
From 18 - 20 May, more than 6,000 visitors flocked through the fair halls of the Swedish capital to visit the booths of the 120 exhibitors and become familiar with the latest technology. Guntermann & Drunck's Swedish sales partner Danmon Svenska AB presented live applications of the German KVM products. One of the main attractions was the CATCenter NEO16 with varying numbers of user consoles (UCONs) and computer modules (CATpro2).
The CATCenter NEO16 system is considered one of the most often deployed matrix switch systems on the international broadcast market. Visitors at the Danmon booths could convince themselves of how easily the CATCenter can be installed (plug & play) and operated. Even after years of 24/7 use, the matrix switch still demonstrates reliability, robustness and the ability to bridge distances up to 10 km using fibre optics and a NEO-FiberLink within a CATCenter cluster.
Danmon did not only present the CATCenter NEO 16 but used the G&D product to operate the entire media control. Hence, the matrix switch played an important part in the booth's technology. The Swedish company once again proved their excellent expertise in integrating G&D products. In addition to the VGA-based CATCenter, G&D also offers the DVI-based DVICenter for even more flexibility.
Jan Arvidsson of Danmon is pleased with the results of the fair. Exhibitors at the LLB Expo 2011 were satisfied with both quantity and quality of their visitors.
