(firmenpresse) - Nuremberg, 1 July 2011 – Power semiconductor manufacturer Semikron can now be reached everywhere and at any time. Users can find a mobile version of the company’s website at mobile.semikron.com that provides fast and easy access to technical details, products, contact partners and jobs. Semikron takes the lead once again, providing power electronics engineers and job-seekers with a modern means of gaining information.
The product and parameter search known from the main website, which can be used to select technical details on current, voltage, circuitry, case and semiconductor type, has been optimized for the small screen dimensions of mobile devices.
“The focus of our mobile website is to provide uncomplicated and fast access to all the relevant information on our products, contact partners and career possibilities. The new mobile site offers users a clearly structured site with short loading times,” explains Stefan Popp, IT Project Manager Marketing at Semikron. The entire product range including datasheets can be found under the menu items “Components” and “Systems & Solutions”.
Fast access to relevant information is becoming an increasingly important factor in the mobile world. The fast growing popularity of iPhones and the likes makes it possible to access such information from any place at any time. And despite all the possibilities offered by technology today, users still value personal contact with Semikron. This is why the mobile site also features a “Contact us” page with details of the different subsidiaries and details of contact partners.
