Fixing solution for fast installation of cables in cable trays
(PresseBox) - The installation of cables and wires in already assembled cable trays can take a long time if conventional cable ties are used for mounting. The cable ties have to be intricately guided by hand through the slots for fastening the cable bundle securely in the tray.
To reduce this installation time, HellermannTyton has developed a practical solution: The cable ties of the CTF series are specially tailored to the requirements of the installation of cables to cable trays.
The innovative fastening ties have a breaking point between the cable tie head and the toothed belt. At this point, the tie can be easily separated by hand. Then the foot ends can be anchored in the slots of the cable tray. With his sophisticated installation technology one can save much time and effort during the application of the ties.
The material of the CTF series is a polyamide PA66 which is obtainable in black and natural. The material complies with the flame class UL94 V2 and is free of halogen.
The CTF-fastening ties are available in two sizes, with widths of 7.6 mm or 13 mm. They have been designed to be used with all standard cable trays and for mounting rails and plates with corresponding slots. For an even quicker and safer installation, use the appropriate HellermannTyton tools.
